At Neococo Collective, we believe that true empowerment goes beyond job training. Many of the women we serve are navigating the challenges of resettlement—balancing family responsibilities, healing from past trauma, and adjusting to a new culture—while striving for economic independence. To ensure that no one is left behind, we provide a range of wraparound services designed to address the barriers that often keep women from accessing meaningful employment.
What We Offer
- Language & Communication Classes
Many participants arrive with limited English proficiency, which can hinder both employment and integration. Through English-language workshops and translation support, women gain the confidence to navigate daily life, advocate for themselves, and expand their opportunities. - Financial Literacy Training
We offer hands-on guidance in budgeting, banking, credit building, and entrepreneurship. These tools allow participants not only to earn income but also to manage it effectively—building long-term stability for themselves and their families. - Trauma-Informed Support
Many of the women in our programs carry the weight of displacement, conflict, or loss. We foster safe spaces through access to counseling partners, group circles, peer support —recognizing that healing is essential to growth. - Community Integration Resources
From navigating public transportation to connecting with local services, we provide practical tools that help women feel at home in Los Angeles. Our cultural and community events also encourage cross-cultural dialogue, creating bonds that strengthen social cohesion.
