Neococo Collective is a women-led, social enterprise creating equitable job opportunities for displaced, refugee, and immigrant women through the art of hand embroidery and handicrafts. Rooted in community our work connects women’s talents with meaningful, dignified employment, restoring confidence, identity, and belonging through creativity.
Who We Are
Neococo Collective addresses the systemic barriers refugee, immigrant and displaced womxn face in achieving economic independence and community integration while resettling in the United States. We believe that when women are given tools, training, and trust, they can lead transformative change—in their own lives and in the communities around them.
Our Programs
Neococo Empowerment Program
The Neococo Empowerment Program was created to transform lived experiences into pathways of employment, using art and design as catalysts for both healing and opportunity.
Neococo Funding Program
The Neococo Funding Program was created to provide microgrants for immigrant and refugee women so they can turn their ideas into sustainable livelihoods.
Wraparound Services
When barriers such as childcare, transportation, or language gaps are addressed, participation is strengthened and lasting independence is made possible.
