Microgrants that Grow Businesses. Futures. Independence.
While our Empowerment Program creates dignified jobs through art and design, many women dream of taking the next step—building businesses of their own. The Neococo Funding Program was created to provide microgrants for immigrant and refugee women so they can turn their ideas into sustainable livelihoods.

Why Microgrants?
For immigrant women, barriers to starting a business are steep. A microgrant can mean the difference between a stalled dream and a thriving enterprise. With seed funding, women can:
- Launch home-based businesses.
- Invest in essential equipment.
- Cover licensing and startup costs.
- Create income streams that support their families long-term.

How It Works
The Neococo Funding Program operates with transparency, trust, and community at its core:
- Application & Support – Women within the program submit their business ideas and receive mentorship to shape them into viable plans.
- Microgrants Awarded – Ventures ready to take off receive direct financial support to launch or grow their businesses.
- Mentorship & Growth – Alongside funding, we connect recipients with coaching, community networks, and peer support to help their ventures succeed.
- Ripple Effect – Each funded business uplifts families, contributes to local economic growth and cultural vitality in Los Angeles.

Why It Matters
When women lead, entire communities rise. Microgrants help fuel -
- Economic Independence – Women move from survival jobs into self-determined careers.
- Cultural Preservation – Businesses often draw from rich traditions—food, art, textiles—that strengthen cultural exchange.
- Generational Impact – Financial stability creates better opportunities for children and families.
- Community Wealth – Local small businesses circulate money back into neighborhoods, creating resilient economies.
